Amman witnessed the launch of the art exhibition “Road to Jerusalem”, with the participation of 60 artists from 11 countries. Its aim was to play a role in resisting the judaization of Jerusalem by documenting its Arab and Islamic identity through art.
On February 8, 2018, Tahera Rahman became the first Muslim hijab-wearing TV reporter to appear on an American news channel, after three failed attempts to get hired. Tahera's persistence and dedication to her work left others with no reason to reject her again.
