Sawt Alhikma Center, affiliated with the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, organized an extensive three-day training program in Mogadishu, Somalia, entitled “Skills of Building Strategies for PVE & the Promotion of Youth Civic Engagement in Society”.
The program aimed at developing human capacities of: Ministry employees
& Activists and media professionals, with the goal of training them on methods of monitoring and analyzing violent discourse.
Trainers: Hicham Al-Haddad, who lectured on civic engagement as a means of eliminating conflicts, & Hadelin Feront, who lectured on approaches to dealing with the underground movements of extremist groups.
The program featured interactive sessions and workshops, and in the closing ceremony, all the participants were honored.
