The Islamic Arts Museum in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is one of the most prominent museums of Islamic art in Asia. Officially opened in 1998 in an area of 30,000 square meters, with 8,000 artifacts on Islamic art in Southeast Asia and India.
The museum consists of several galleries. The Quran & Manuscript Gallery contains a collection of Quran copies and the Architecture Gallery contains models of Islamic mosques around the world. Other galleries include textiles, ceramics, jewelry and weapons.
