The Prophet Museum was inaugurated in Amman, Jordan, in 2012 at the King Hussein Mosque. It features some of the Prophet’s belongings and other objects which hold significant value in the history of Islam and date to the era of prophethood.
On display are a single hair from the Prophet’s beard, his letter to the Byzantine emperor of Eastern Roman Empire, in which he urged him to convert to Islam, and a sapling of the tree under which the Prophet PBUH rested on his way to the Levant for trade in the pre-Islamic era.
