The Sawt Al-Hikma Center of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation announced that three videos by contestants from Algeria, Nigeria and Egypt won the prizes of its annual short-video competition, which came this year (2021) under the slogan “In the Best Manner” to promote the call for dialogue, coexistence and respect for the other.

The announcement of the winners took place after their selection through a draw among those whose videos fulfilled the conditions of the competition in a virtual ceremony held by the Center on Tuesday (June 8, 2021) at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Jeddah, KSA.

The competition received 87 entries from 18 member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and from outside, in three languages “Arabic, English, and French”, in which women’s participation accounted for nearly 20 percent.

The third season of the competition witnessed a greater turnout rate than the previous two seasons, as each of the three winners receives an all-expenses-paid Umrah trip or 3,000 USD.

The competition aimed at building video content for Muslims, through which they explain to the world how they believe in constructive dialogue as the most successful means to spread peace and coexistence by bringing people of different thoughts together.
