The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) expressed its condemnation and full denunciation of the terrorist attack carried out by a terrorist group on a development project in the district of Masura (Qatif Province) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, resulting in the death of one child and injuries to ten people some of which are critical.
The OIC Secretary General, Dr. Youssef Ben Ahmed Al-Othaimeen, considered that the perpetrators of this act, and those who planned it or supported it, are in fact executing designs that seek to shake the country’s stability, terrorize the citizens and obstruct the developmental projects in the area. Al-Othaimeen further expressed his confidence in the relevant Saudi authorities’ capacity to track down the assailants, bring them to justice and unmask their real affiliations. The Secretary General extended his deep condolence to the family of the child victim whose life was claimed in the attack, and expressed his wishes for prompt recovery to the injured persons. Al-Othaimeenalso underlined the OIC’s unwavering support to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in its fight against terrorism which targets its peace and stability, whatever its source. He also reiterated the OIC’s principled and unfailing stand against terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.
