It has been reported that the Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham) would not eat unless there was some guest on his table. Once, it so happened that he received no guests and as a result, he remained hungry. The Prophet Ibrahim then went out looking for someone to host and he found one very old man in the nearby forest. He invited the old man to dine with him and the man agreed to go with him. On the way, The Prophet Ibrahim asked him about his religion. The man said I am an atheist. The Prophet felt upset and cancelled the invitation. Upon doing so, The Prophet heard a voice from above: O’ Abraham! We have tolerated him (the old man) for seventy years despite his disbelief and you could not tolerate him for seven minutes.
