State of war never serve Islam

“Islam is not a native calling settled for spreading its principles in one specific medium, and it is not a sectarian or communal calling, either, particular of one group of people. It is rather a universal appeal. And for that, it is not in our welfare the continuation of war: that which hinders preachers from conveying the message of Islam to people around the globe, and which sends people away worrying about what has befallen them in the aftermath of war, instead of pondering the teachings of this religion. Therefore, Islam favors peace, abides by law, and ensures security and order. ... Clean Your Heart

The messenger of God said to me (Anas), "Son, if you are able, keep your heart from morning till night and from night till morning free from malice towards anyone"; then he said, "Oh! My son, this is one of my laws, and the one who loves my laws verily loves me."

The sword verse: the case of a Quranic verse forcibly highjacked to justify violence!

{When the Sacred Months have passed, kill the polytheists wherever you find them. And capture them, and besiege them, and lie in wait for them at every ambush. But if they repent, and perform the prayers, and pay the alms, then let them go their way. God is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful}.(Tawba:5 Perhaps no verse in the Holy Quran was ever abused and misinterpreted by ISIS and Takfiri groups to justify their thirst for blood more than the verse of the sword, which continues to be the subject of a heated debate and dispute among Muslims. The verse has become ... Read More

How To Eradicate Terrorism?

The phenomenon of terrorism appears on the face of it to be without end. However, history confirms that all terrorist movements end for a number of different reasons. For example, statistics of the Institute for Economics and Peace show that since the sixties, most terrorist organisations that were active in over this period were eradicated due to political processors while just over 7% were eradicated using armed force. Perhaps Islamic history provides us with evidence documenting this fact. The Kharijites disappeared completely from history. During the period of the rightly guided caliphs five wars were waged between the Kharijites and ... Read More

Condition of al-Amr bi al-Ma’roof

Sufian al-Thawri said: “Good is not enjoined nor evil forbidden except by the person possessing three qualities: gentleness in his command, gentleness in his prohibition, justice in his command, and justice in his prohibition, knowledge of his command, and knowledge of his prohibition.”

The obligation to defend dhimmis

All Muslim scholars agreed that Muslims must care for and repeal injustice to dhimmis, because when the Muslims awarded them such a contract, it guaranteed an obligation to defend them and by such a contract, they became part of the Dar al-Islam. Some even said that injustice toward a dhimmi is a greater injustice than that done to Muslims. (Radd al-Muhtar ala al-Dar al-Mukhtar bi Hashiyah Ibn Abidin. Vol. 5, 275)

Innocence: The Kindling of Terror and Madness

Many authentic Hadiths and narrations of the Rightly Guided Caliphs advocate the protection of innocent people during the time of battle. This injunction respects the inviolability and sacredness of innocent blood. The counsel of the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) “Fight in the name of Allaah and the path of Allaah and with him who disbelieves in Allah fight and do not be treacherous and do not be dishonest about booty and do not deface (in killing) and do not kill a child, woman, the elderly, or a person isolated in a tower” was addressed to his army which was headed ... In 21st century; A talk about Jihad al-Talab (Offensive Jihad)!!

In our time, ISIS and its counterparts derive their intellectual and doctrinal ideology from twisting the ancient Islamic literature. The opinions and ideas are often extracted of their contexts without any consideration to the difference in times and places, and perhaps the most significant topics that delight the advocates of this ideology to talk about are the topics of jihad, by which they justify their madness and thirst for blood. And they usually concentrate their focus on the subject of jihad al-Talab (Offensive jihad), by which they justify their aggression against non-Muslims, and we have seen what ISIS has done ... Kharijites: A Repeated Phenomenon

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: There would arise at the end of the age a people who would be young in age and immature in thought, but they would talk (in such a manner) as if their words are the best among the creatures. They would recite the Qur'an, but it would not go beyond their throats, and they would pass through the religion as an arrow goes through the prey. So when you meet them, kill them, for in their killing you would get a reward with Allah on the Day of Judgement. [Al-Bukhari and Muslim] Numerous hadith ... Read More

Is the future Islamic Caliphate really promissed by the Prophet!!??

The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, is narrated to have said: “The Prophethood will remain amongst you for as long as Allah wills it to be. Then Allah will raise it when He wills to raise it. Then there will be the caliphate upon the Prophetic methodology. And it will last for as long as Allah wills it to last. Then Allah will raise it when He wills to raise it. Then there will be biting kingship, and it will remain for as long as Allah wills it to remain. Then Allah will raise it when He wills ... Read More
