On World Elder Abuse Awareness Day, we remember the Prophet's (PBUH) commandments about respecting the elderly, being kind to them, caring for their rights, and providing amenities for them. Whoever honors the elderly is rewarded in this world and the hereafter.

Charity for Muslims in Rome

The Vatican announced that the corona virus "Work Dignity" fund, set up by Pope Francis, will include Muslims living in Rome. It was noted that Muslims helped needy Christians in Italy during Ramadan without asking about their religion. Charity has no religion.

Helping the Needy in Burton

A mosque in Burton, England, cooked and distributed thousands of meals to needy people from different religions during the Corona virus Pandemic. Some of the meals were allocated to hospital health workers, in recognition of their efforts to combat the virus.

Muslim Prisoners in Italy

The Italian government signed an agreement with Islamic centers that allows Imams to provide spiritual and religious support to Muslim inmates in Italian prisons. Many consider this agreement to be a formal recognition of Islam as a major religion in Italy.

Muslims in Indonesia have shown great commitment to the implemented precautionary measures after reopening the mosques in Jakarta. Many worshipers emphasized their appreciation of returning to the mosques and full compliance with safety procedures.

Global Anti-Racist Protests

Protests in the have expanded to include many cities in both Europe and Asia after tens of thousands of people protested to reject racism and defend the rights of minorities. It has been the largest protest in the world since the 1960s.
