A British court ruled that an Islamic marriage held in accordance with Islamic traditions with Imams of mosques is not legally recognized in England. Therefore, it constitutes a major crisis for thousands of Muslim families who don't have legal marriage contracts.

Apology From An American Priest

Catholic Priest Nick VanDenBroeke from the State of Minnesota issued an apology for a sermon in which he described Islam as "the greatest threat" to America, asserting that his words do not reflect the church's stance toward Islam and Muslims.

In a book about opposing Islamophobia, Italian researchers Pietro Basso and Fabio Perocco state that the discourse of some European governments invokes fear of Muslim immigrants by claiming that they pose danger to society, thus spreading Islamophobia in Europe.‬

Mobile Mosques for the Olympics in Tokyo

A new project was launched in Tokyo, Japan, which aims to provide mobile mosques (trucks) during the Olympics 2020 next August. The project aims to cater to Muslim athletes and spectators; prayer spaces for people of different religions will also be provided.
