“Find Similarities”

A recently launched campaign entitled, "Look for similarities, not differences," which is funded by the European Commission, aims to reduce Islamophobia in Europe by presenting entertaining illustrations that show what Muslims and non-Muslims have in common.

“Sawt Al-Hikma” Calls for Declaring March 15 as International Day of Solidarity against Islamophobia.”

Sawt Al-Hikma Center of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) calls on the OIC member states, all states of the world, governmental and non-governmental organizations and all human rights and religious freedom activists, to urge the United Nations to declare March 15 of every year as International Day of Solidarity against Islamophobia.

Switzerland Votes to Ban the Niqab

Muslim activists have expressed their strong dissatisfaction due to Switzerland coming referendum that could ban Niqab with an expected majority vote for the ban, believing it to be a first step to harassment of Muslims and growth of Islamophobia in the society.

Islamophobia in the English Sports Fields

  A study by Birmingham City and Nottingham Trent universities revealed that Muslim players of both genders suffer from the rise of Islamophobia, especially females who are ignored due to wearing hijab, calling for the ending of discrimination in sports.
