With the aim of spreading moderate thought and introducing the principles of Islam, Al-Azhar University in Egypt announced the availability of “The Truth of Islam” book series in 13 different languages, during the 52nd edition of the Cairo Int’l Book Fair.
Dozens of UK mosques took part in Visit My Mosque initiative, which aims to dispel misconceptions about Islam and make the British more aware of their Muslim neighbours, amid expectations that more mosques will join the initiative with the easing of the lockdown.
The campaign, Mercy of the World, was launched in 14 Ukrainian cities a few days ago. It aims to introduce the biography of the Prophet (PBUH) by inviting non-Muslim Ukrainians to visit mosques and ask questions about the teachings of Islam.
The Prophet's (PBUH) biography is full of stories that show how he treated the children of non-Muslims with mercy, wisdom and compassion. He cared for their safety even during times of war, proving himself to be an exemplary father and teacher.
The Prophet (PBUH) rejected all forms of abuse to others, even if the abuse was directed against his enemies and those who deny his message. He said, “I was not sent as a curser. I was sent as a mercy.”
