Barack and Michelle Obama announced a new Ramadan podcast, that aims to shed light on diverse Muslim experiences and consolidate America's relationship with Muslims. The pod will feature stories from activists, artists and athletes and introduce them to society.
The Muslim American politician, Qasim Rashid, embodied the Quranic verse "repel evil with that which is better" by donating for Oscar Dillon's wife's medical expenses, though Dillon attacked Muslims. Rashid said:"my faith instead teaches me to serve all humanity".
The Paterson City Council in the U.S. state of New Jersey backed an ordinance that allows Adhan, the Muslim call to prayer, to be broadcast over loudspeakers, as is allowed in churches. This decision benefits approximately 15 mosques serving 30,000 Muslims.
