The French National Observatory Against Islamophobia announced a 54% increase in attacks against Muslims in France. The attacks increased from 100 attacks in 2018 to 154 in 2019 and are mostly concentrated in Ile de France, Rhone-Alpes and Alpes-Côte d’Azur.
