Topkapi Museum in Istanbul is one the world’s most popular museums. It is part of the Topkapi Palace, built by Sultan Mehmed the Conqueror in 1478 AD, and houses many rare treasures that date back to different Islamic eras.
Several antiquities of the Ottoman sultans are on display. It also houses what is known as the Sacred Trusts: the cloak of Prophet Muhammad PBUH, two swords, a bow, a hair, and his letters, in addition to the swords of the Companions, the keys of the Kaaba and other relics.
