Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University, representing by its affiliated Intellectual Awareness Unit, will arrange in tandem with Prince Muhammad bin Naif Counseling and Care Centre a symposium entitling “Extremism among Purported Theorizing and ill-omened Reality  … Emerged Facts” on the next Sunday morning.

Stated that H.E. Prof. Dr. Sheikh Suliman Aba Al-Khail, Rector of Al-Imam Muhammad Ibn Saud Islamic University and Member of Saudi Senior Ulemas Council, and has furthered that, the symposium is targeting all students of the university in effort to use the unconventional “soft” measures to combat the intellectual and ideological justifications for violent extremism.

In a similar vein, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Mayman, Vice-Rector of Al-Imam University for Sharia Institutes Affairs, and Head of Intellectual Awareness Unit, has called during his chairing to the executive committees’ meeting to take the advantages behind the strong partnership with Prince Muhammad bin Naif Counseling and Care Centre. He declared the readiness of Al-Imam University to organize and host the symposium and to bring success to its sessions.

It should be noted that, the symposium, which will be starting in 10:00 A.M., will be holding at the hall of Sheikh Muhammad Ibrahim at the university campus  and will be streaming via the conference video technologies to the main hall of King Abdullah City for Female Students, and via the university channel on YouTube.
