The companions were travelling with the Prophet (PBUH). When they stopped to rest, one companion fell asleep. Some of them then went to wake him by throwing the reigns on his body, whereupon he awoke frightened. The Prophet (PBUH) then said, “It is not permissible for a Muslim to frighten another Muslim”. Narrated by Abu Dawood.
